Want to work with pumps, valves, and mechanical systems that keep the water flowing? Retroflo, a trusted Northumbrian Water Partner based in Seaham, is looking for a motivated Apprentice Mechanical engineer to join their dynamic team.
What You’ll Do:
- Supported installations, maintenance, and breakdown response for industrial water treatment and pumping systems.
- Gain hands-on experience with pumps, valves, pipework, and mechanical assemblies.
- Work alongside experienced engineers and develop practical skills in a vital sector.

What You’ll Need:
- A keen interest in mechanical engineering.
- Hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade 4/C or above in Maths, English, and ideally a science or technical subject.
- A driving license (or working towards it) is a bonus but not essential.
Location: Seaham, with travel to industrial and treatment sites throughout the North East.
