Meet Helen Radcliffe from DurhamWorks. She explains what DurhamWorks can do for you. Also you get to meet Claire Gibbons, Park Head Hotel Owner, Bishop Auckland who has employed a number of DurhamWorks young people and how well they are doing in their employment. 

Series 1 - Episode 2

Hear Christopher Lambert's story. Once homeless and with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, he has started a traineeship in Business Administration with the help of DurhamWorks. 

Series 1 - Episode 3

Meet Amanda and Joe Lowes. Amanda talks about her son Joe, the support he has received from DurhamWorks and how they are looking to improve his independence. . Joe's Autism isn't holding him back from trying new courses and look into different employment roles that are suitable for him.  

Series 2 - Episode 1

Meet Paige, a Groundwork Peer Mentor who now uses her own life experience to help others who may find themselves in the same situation and supports them back on their feet and by getting them into education, employment or training. 



Series 2 - Episode 2

Joseph a Peer Mentor with Ground Work tells us all about the difficulties he has had to face and how he draws on this experience to help others who may find themselves in the same situation as he was. He can support anyone on the DurhamWorks programme to get them back on their feet by providing the support they need to get into education, employment or training. 



Series 2 - Episode 3

Adam who was in care for most of his life, came into DurhamWorks to get the help he needed to find employment. Now a Peer Mentor he can support others who find themselves in the same situation he was in.
