Nikita Waschwniewski, who was 18 and NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) signed up to DurhamWorks to receive the support she needed to make the successful move from unemployment into employment within the care industry.
Nikita was assigned to DurhamWorks Progression Worker Tom Lynn, and agreed to sign up for the Adult Health and Social Care course with Optimum Skills.
Nikita passed the course with flying colours and applied for a position with Hartlepool based Careline Lifestyles Care Home. She was successful and secured a position at the care home and after completing her probationary period she secured a permanent role.
Tom Lynn, Nikita’s DurhamWorks Progression Worker said, “Nikita has been brilliant to work with as she always showed fantastic enthusiasm to move forward in her life. She is a very polite young woman and was always proactive and enthusiastic. She thoroughly deserves her success”.
Nikita said, “I would like to thank Tom of Durham Works for his support and I am so happy to have now found full time employment.”
