Clever Careers will be delivered over 4 weeks and will support the YP with the understanding Green Jobs and how they can use transferable skills to aspire of a Career in a changing environment, exploring the opportunities that enhancing green skills (linked to digital and financial skills) can bring. We will use our unique relationships with Employers who can support this opportunity with Employer Introductions Sessions Green Jobs days, taster work experience and volunteering opportunities, understanding Retro fit role – what are they – linked to construction roles but also Energy Advisor Opportunities, Green Doctor talks. Volunteering with Groundwork Estuary Rangers and Conservation workers.
This unique training package offers key insights to a new up and coming industry - Retrofit and Green Jobs
Training will include:
· Week One - Introduction and Domestic RetroFit
· Week Two - What are Green Jobs and Why do we need them?
· Week Three - Digital Skills & Health & Safety
· Week Four - Work & Life Skills and Celebration event
All participants will receive a hygiene pack, food parcel and Amazon vouchers on start and completion of the course.
