Carbon Clever Careers will be delivered over 4 weeks, 3 days per week and it will support the learners to gain an understanding of Green Jobs and how they can use their own transferable skills to aspire for a career in a changing environment. This unique training package offers key insights to a new up and coming industry, with a lot of job opportunities across the North East & Yorkshire. Retro fitting is high priority in the region and local councils are looking for young, talented individuals to train, gain employment and complete this important construction work. Retro fitting is about the future. Making our homes more energy efficient, it is very important work, and we need you to make our homes better. In this training you will gain valuable skills to be employed in this growing industry. Vital skills such as handling power tools do, hazardous substances, health and safety at work, waste disposal and the importance of teamwork and having the necessary skills to succeed in life. There are lots of employment opportunities with local councils, further training and steps into similar industry to help you go far in your career.
