Qualification: Level 1 Award in Introduction to the Hospitality Industry
To prepare learners for employment within the hospitality industry. During the course, learners will look at different forms of hospitality establishments, different services offered in the industry, job roles and responsibilities, identifying sources of information on training and career opportunities, customer service and communication.
Understand different roles involved in front of house activities. Be able to prepare and serve different drinks using professional barista equipment and resources. To understand basic food safety and hygiene processes when working with food and drink.
