CACD - 'Confidence is Key'- Online
Location: On-line via Google Meet and Google Classroom
Qualification: None

Don't let a lack of confidence hold you back from taking the first step towards getting into work. We are living in challenging times but this workshop, delivered by our experienced Employability Trainers can help you take positive steps out of lockdown and into employment. This is one of a series of workshops being offered by CACD throughout March and April aimed at supporting you find work.

Having taken part in this workshop participants will understand the importance of banishing negative attitudes in favour of positive ones, how to take responsibility for their own actions and understand how to manage stress.

Participants will develop helpful coping strategies, practice team building skills and build personal resilience. Working on thoughts, feelings and behaviours, they can achieve mental and emotional well being by realising that there are some things they have control over whilst others they don't.

This is one of a series of workshops being delivered by the DurhamWorks Employability Trainers at CACD, all aimed at giving young people the best possible chance of getting a job.
