Description
The LEAP programme is a 12-week programme preparing you to take the next step towards your future.
Through individualised support you will develop the skills and confidence to move towards education, training or employment.
The programme is a mix of hands-on activities, practical learning, and adventure-based experiences helping you grow in every direction — personally, socially, and professionally.
- Decision Making – Learn to trust your instincts and make smart choices.
- Money Management – Take control of your finances and plan for the future.
- Vocational Tasters – Try out different career paths and discover what fits.
- Healthy Lifestyles & Cooking – Fuel your body and mind with good habits.
- Team Building – Build strong connections and leadership skills.
- Outdoor Adventure – Step outside your comfort zone and into the wild.
- Well-being Activities – Strengthen your emotional and mental health.
Whether you’re looking to build confidence, gain independence, or prepare for work and life, LEAP is here to help you grow — and go far.
The programme starts Monday 2nd June and runs for 12 weeks every Monday and Tuesday.
The first 2 weeks are inductions and onboarding to give you plenty of time to get to know us.
This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and is open to people aged 16-24 in County Durham.
